Custom fields are not intended to replace complex forms, but will allow you to define and standardize the data stored in Guardian Tracking. The various fields may be set as required or optional.
Any custom fields assigned to a category will appear while creating an entry.
The type of fields range from:
- A Drop Down List
- Text Field
- Multi-Select List
- or, a Checkbox
Optional descriptions may be assigned to the drop down list and multi-select list, which will be visible as you hover over the various options.
You will receive a warning if you attempt to publish an entry without completing a required field.
