This only occurs in Internet Explorer and usually when working with the hierarchy.  The changes have actually been made, but IE is displaying an old version of the page.


This can be resolved with a couple of simple changes.


With some versions of IE the following instructions might be a little different.  However, you should be able to resolve the problem with IE by:


First

  1. Go to the menu bar and select “Tools.”
  2. Select “Internet Options.”
  3. Under Browser History select “Settings"
  4. Under “Check for newer versions of stored pages:” select “every time I visit the webpage.” 

Second


    Some deployments of Internet Explorer will automatically turn on Compatibility Mode.  It’s important that this setting is turned off in order for Guardian Tracking to display and function correctly.

  1. Go to the menu bar and select “Tools.”
  2. Select “Compatibility View Settings.”
  3. Un-check “Display intranet sites in Compatibility View” and "Use Microsoft compatibility list"
  4. Select "Close"
